Frequently Asked Questions
About Our Ferrari Art
How are your oil paintings made?
All our Ferrari art oil paintings are hand-painted by a professional and talented artist. Jon Rossi has perfected his
expertise through years of study and practice. Each picture is painstakingly painted using only the highest quality
oils to attain the closest match of colors and elements of the original.
Can I see the actual brushstrokes?
Yes. Your painting is hand-painted by a real artist using real oils. There is NO
machinery involved – your painting is NOT a giclee print or any other kind of art print on canvas.
You can enjoy the rich texture of oils and see, touch, feel and even smell the brush strokes!
How close are your oil painting commissions to the original photos?
Jon works hard and is meticulous in his approach. His almost obsessive attention to detail means your
Ferrari painting will look almost identical to your photo. That said, these pictures are painted by
the hand of a human being and will look almost identical but not exactly identical.
If you would like to change anything in your painting that your photo does not contain, Jon can do
this for you. For example, you may want two cars in a painting that are in two sperate photos, or maybe you
don't like the background in your photo but love the angle of the car so you want Jon to paint you a different
background. All of this is no problem and you can discuss this with me at time of ordering.
How long will my painting take?
Any Ferrari painting from the collection will be sent within 48 hours and should
be with you within just a few days depending on where you live in the world. Your commissioned art
painting will arrive in approximately 60 days. Jon takes approximately three to five weeks to paint the
reproduction depending on the complexity of the Ferrari supercar. You will always receive an email from
me keeping you updated and letting you know when your painting is on the way.
Do you offer lower priced Ferrari art?
Yes and no. Yes in the sense that Jon will paint you a smaller picture if
you have a particular budget in mind. Here on the website we have put the most common sizes but Jon has done
some spectacular paintings in sizes as small as 10 x 8"! If you have a size or price in mind, send me an
email and let's see what we can do.
The "no" answer to this question is in terms of quality. While Jon is happy
to paint almost any size and will paint you a smaller painting if you want to stick to a budget, what he won't do
is paint an inferior painting to save time and costs. Every picture is painted to perfection and is a
masterpiece in it's own right. Out of respect to Ferrari and all my customers, we will not offer lower
quality paintings. It is my belief that you get what you pay for in art and in life and I am not prepared to
compromise on the quality by offering cheap paintings. These beautiful Ferrari art portraits make a stunning
tribute to Ferrari and offer fantastic value for money.
Do you offer a money back guarantee on Ferrari portraits?
Absolutely! Every Ferrari and classic car painting comes with
a full 12 month, 365 day money back guarantee. You can return the painting for ANY reason. Of course your painting
is fully guaranteed against any material defects but it is also guaranteed against any other reason you can
think of.
Any reason.
If for example, your Ferrari painting or classic car art portrait does not
meet your high expectations or you decide that having a supercar on your wall brings you no joy, simply send
it back. We won’t ask you any questions and there will be no forms to fill in. There are no hidden charges like
re-stocking fees or any other nonsense. If you’re not delighted with your Ferrari
art for any reason, simply send it back for a full 100% prompt and courteous refund. Click here for more details about our Ferrari painting guarantee.
How are the oil reproductions sent?
Your Ferrari painting will arrive un-stretched, rolled and in a sturdy tube.
Delivery is by registered, insured courier to an address of your choice.
Where can I get my Ferrari painting framed?
Your oil painting will arrive as the canvas only. This will then need to be
stretched by a frame shop and if required, put into a suitable frame. Due to high postage costs and the delicate
nature, we send the paintings unframed allowing you to save cost by using a local frame shop. A framer will also be
able to advise you on the best style of frame for your particular painting and to match your decoration depending
on which room you plan to hang it in.
Of course, you may simply chose to hang your painting in the stretcher only and
not frame it, as some pictures look fantastic with no frame, but this is up to your personal
choice.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping for Ferrari art used to be a flat fee of $47 (£29) per tube
sent. However, we now pay for this so for you it's now FREE! We
cover shipping to all worldwide destinations, all packaging costs,
delivery, tracking and insurance.
