A beautiful Ferrari 250 GT SWB sits elegantly on a cobbled street.  The 250 short wheelbase was born in 1959 at a time when GT racing was the most important sports car category, and was developed as an 'all-purpose' classic after the 250 GT Berlinetta and Tour de France models.

Styled by Pininfarina, built by Scaglietti, the shorter wheelbase made it lighter, nimbler, more aerodynamic and quicker with a 3-litre V12 giving out around 240bhp with a top speed of approx 155 mph.  Having seen my first 250 GT SWB on the road early one Sunday morning only recently, you can be sure of more paintings featuring this stunningly beautiful Ferrari.  It's one of my personal favorites!
